Big Sky Trip with Lou's
We are very excited to announce the dates for our annual ski trip of March 30-April 14. You can stay for any 5-day stretch therein to get the discounted rates on rooms at the Huntley Lodge, lift tickets and lessons at one of the greatest and biggest resorts around.
Weather is a strange strange thing and by now you must be aware that although our snow pack may be a little low and slightly disappointing compared to our start, the majority of the rest of the west has almost non-existent skiing. Ryan just returned from a sad sad trip to Utah. So it was great news to hear from Victor DeLeo of Big Sky that the skiing there is doing just fine including the tram where he spent a nice portion of last weekend not skiing others tracks in fresh snow.
It seems a fitting time to remind everyone that our yearly trip to Big Sky is on again and so far interest has been bigger than ever. Skiing there in spring has always been dependable and the terrain choices easily suit the entire family and all levels. This year we’ll be bringing some of next season’s powder boards along for everyone to test and are working on a side cat skiing trip as well, but no promises there. Really it isn’t necessary. Big Sky has plenty to offer and a side trip to Bridger on the way home or a jump across the Big Sky ridge to Moonlight easily rounds out a trip.
Rates for Lou’s gang are already in the Big Sky reservation system and as always are generously inexpensive for staying on-mountain at a major resort. Big Sky Huntley Lodge rooms with two queens and two people with breakfast for each large enough to get you through lunch is only $140 US per night per room. Lift tickets are only $50. Big Sky is also home to the best pizza in North America and onion rings at the on-mountain restaurant are the size of Alberta. Lou’s rates are also available for condos.
If you need more information call or email us here otherwise keep working on ski legs, call Big Sky and ask for Lou’s rates. Dates are April 1through April 7 with the possibility of extending at the same rate and if you ask the friendly Montanans very nicely there is a remote possibility of early arrival.
